Women in Transformational Leadership

Overview

The Women in Transformational Leadership (WiTL) programme, designed and delivered in collaboration with Purple Thread, is for women in middle to senior leadership roles.

The programme begins with an Insights Discovery Transformational Leadership (IDTL) profile, a personalised leadership development tool which will help you to understand your leadership style and impact. Your IDTL profile will be supported by a 1:1 debrief with a senior coach, followed by our four-module journey which will focus on elements and themes from the IDTL profile.

During each of the four group sessions, we will explore the Insights Discovery Transformational Leadership model alongside other authentic leadership models based on current research and best practices. Through the lens of female leadership and experiential learning, we will build a psychologically safe environment for our participants.

Each session will balance theory with practical application, encouraging deep self-reflection and actionable insights. The dynamic and emergent themes will enable participants to rapidly apply their learning to their professional environments.

The programme will create the space to explore the common challenges women face in leadership and provide practical strategies for developing presence, building effective relationships, delivering results, and creating meaningful change.

Further 1:1 coaching is available based around your IDTL profile, upon request.

Who should attend this course?

Our Women in Transformational Leadership programme is designed for women in middle to senior leadership positions who have experience of leading teams and who aspire to expand their agency; this may be to advance into more senior roles or to broaden in their current role, or a combination. The programme would also be valuable for subject matter experts, individual contributors and specialists who input in high-level groups or board discussions with or without formal leadership titles.

Ideal participants will be committed to self-reflection, open to developing greater self-awareness, and interested in leading authentically, rather than conforming to traditional leadership stereotypes. Participants who want to co-create inclusive systems, where all team members can flourish and grow, will benefit most from this programme.
