Background

Seb has over 25 years of experience working as a coach and facilitator in both the public and private sector and is passionate about enabling clients to engage in meaningful, purposeful dialogue. He brings a wealth of experience and great insight into what skills are required to successfully engage a variety of different stakeholders. As a result Seb aims to help clients create a culture of high performance – both on a 1-2-1 basis as well as when working with groups.

As a former Psychology lecturer (at FE and HE), he has been awarded Outstanding Grade 1 by OFSTED for creating “outstanding learning environments.” He has also successfully run his own educational consultancy delivering accelerated learning strategies and emotional intelligence workshops to students and parents as well as INSETs to staff.

Enabling people to become more present and accountable, whilst creating a positive culture of catching people out doing great things, are core values. When designing and delivering memorable and effective learning and development programmes, Seb likes to challenge established ways of thinking and behaviour. Creating the right environment to allow people to genuinely reflect on their mind-set, behaviours and skills and commit to actions that mean they become the best possible version of themselves and more emotionally intelligent (E.Q.) are key enablers for success.

Seb’s beliefs are that we’re all interconnected and responsible for our actions; and that whilst people are fundamentally good, situations, organisational cultures or sub-cultures can distort this healthy outlook. Given that organisational politics are inevitable – and waste a vast amount of energy – Seb knows how to help people transform themselves when they choose to and when there is a compelling reason to change.
