Nick O’Donnell

Background

Nick O’Donnell is an Executive Coach and Leadership Consultant with over 30 years’ commercial leadership experience and more than 15 years’ experience in coaching and mentoring. His career includes senior operational and commercial roles with organisations including The Walt Disney Company and Planet Hollywood, giving him first-hand experience of leadership, culture and organisational performance.

Nick works with senior leaders, leadership teams and organisations on the human factors that shape performance, progression and change. His areas of focus include leadership development, strategic thinking, decision-making, delegation, leadership identity and Imposter Syndrome.

He brings commercial pragmatism and psychological insight to his work, with a particular interest in what happens when the behaviours and beliefs that helped someone become successful begin to limit them as their responsibilities change. He helps clients examine established patterns, challenge assumptions and identify practical ways to improve their effectiveness.

His approach is thoughtful, direct and curious. He creates space for honest reflection and constructive challenge, helping individuals and organisations move beyond the presenting issue to understand what is really getting in the way.

Nick holds a Master’s in Executive Coaching and Mentoring, is an ILM Level 7 Executive Coach and Mentor, and holds a postgraduate qualification in Imposter Syndrome.
