Julie Wood

Background

Julie started her career in Educational Sales, before going on to gain a BSc from the Open University where she studied Sociology, Human Biology, Economics, Politics and Psychology. Whilst bringing up a young family and helping to run a construction company with her husband, Julie trained to Post Graduate level with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis and went on to join the college faculty. Julie completed a Certificate in Education and a Certificate in Humanistic Counselling, and taught Clinical Hypnosis for several years as well as running a private practice where she used EMDR, CBT and other psychodynamic techniques. Later, a change in family circumstances led to a move and an almost accidental career change! Using her experience running a business, Julie started working as a Bookkeeper, and over the years has worked with a range of clients, offering comprehensive support with bookkeeping and payroll. Julie joined Agar in 2023 as Finance Manager.
