Caroline Dunne
Background
Caroline is an Executive Coach and Change Practitioner with over 25 years of senior leadership experience in complex, fast-evolving environments. She brings a rare combination of strategic insight, operational expertise, and human-centred leadership to her work with individuals and organisations navigating transformation.
Caroline’s approach is grounded in empathy, clarity, and purpose. She partners with leaders to explore the values that guide their actions, the ethical choices they face, and the inclusive cultures they seek to build. Drawing on her own experience leading large-scale organisational change, she understands the real-world tensions leaders encounter – between performance and wellbeing, ambition and sustainability, pressure and purpose.
Having held executive roles – including as a Chief of Staff – across diverse higher education institutions in the UK and Australia, Caroline has led multi-million-pound transformation programmes, facilitated cultural renewal, and built in-house change capabilities that endure beyond the life of any one initiative. She’s known for her ability to create trust quickly, hold space for honest reflection, and ask the questions that move people forward.
Caroline brings rich insights into values-based leadership, ethical decision-making, inclusion and privilege, boundary-spanning collaboration, and the strategic alignment of leadership with organisational purpose. She draws on theory and her lived experience to help leaders engage with complexity, lead with integrity, and drive meaningful, systemic change.
Above all, Caroline believes that leadership is about people. Her coaching and consulting practice is rooted in the belief that when leaders are clear on who they are and what they stand for, they can lead with greater impact, courage, and care.
