James Auden

Background

After graduating from Oxford, James was an actor for ten years, mostly in theatre with companies such as the RSC. Always fascinated by communication and psychology, he also worked with companies offering training through the use of actors in simulations, and developed a passion for experiential learning: we learn above all through practice, not theory. After training as a coach and studying at the Gestalt Centre London, for the last eighteen years he has been helping people in organisations to communicate more effectively, coaching and training people up to Board and Partner levels in major professional services firms such as PWC and Linklaters LLP, financial services, the pharmaceutical, retail, energy and construction industries, and in the public sector. James is an NLP Master Practitioner and Coach, an mBIT Certified Coach, and a Licensed Insights Discovery Practitioner. He lives in Devon with his partner and their twin daughters. In his free time he is a keen landscape photographer.
